Individual Counseling
Helps clients deal with issues such as lifestyle changes for men and women, illness, grief, personality difficulties, employment difficulties, stress, depression and other concerns that affect a person's quality of life.
Marriage, Family & Divorce Counseling
Assists couples with families in effective communication and conflict resolution. Divorce counseling helpsindividuals cope with the trauma of breaking up and the adjustment process that follows a divorce. Divorce meditation, premarital counseling and therapy for victims of domestic violence are also offered by trained family counselors.
Career, Vocational & Rehabilitation Counseling
Enables clients to have a realistic and comfortable familiarity with their role in the world of work. Clients are taught job search and interviewing strategies and how to utilize the Centers Employment Agency Networking Services. Extensive outplacement programs and rehabilitation services are also available.
Special Services for Children & Youth
These are among the Centers' best recognized programs. The Centers are known among educational institutions for their outstanding work in the assessment and treatment of school problems, academic under-achievement, behavioral dysfunction, substance abuse, sexual abuse and misconduct, teen pregnancy, hyperactivity, depression, suicide, and other concerns.
Educational Evaluation & Intervention
Involves assessment of intellectual, emotional and social functioning, and academic achievement in all major subject areas. The Centers' educators and therapists work with clients of all ages, from pre-school to adult, to improve performance at school and in the workplace. Special services include evaluations of learning disabilities, early kindergarten admissions, and problems such as attention deficient hyperactive disorder and dyslexia. Second opinions for parents concerned about M-Team diagnosis and/or recommendations are also available.
The Eating Disorders Program
Program design is educational. supportive and individually tailored to meet the needs of Anorexic (food restricting), Bulemic (binging and purging) and compulsive overeating adolescents, adults and their families.
The Chemical Dependency Program
Treatment Group for Achievers meets weekly for educational and solution-focused counseling for alcohol, cocaine and other drug abuse.
Intensive Treatment Program for Achievers meets four times a week and also utilizes an educational and solution-focused counseling format for a successful recovery from chemical dependency.
Impaired Drivers Program offers the same choice of group levels as our Treatment Group and Intensive Treatment Program for Achievers. Same-Day Services for DWI/OWI intervention.
Sobriety for Women offers a supportive and comfortable group setting to learn about the special needs and sober-living skills recovering women share. Achieve a more fulfilling sense of self and balance in managing sobriety today.
